Monaco Violin Studio
Honor Monaco, the studio's owner, has been playing violin since the age of three and holds an MFA in Music Improvisation and Literature from Mills College. For over a decade, she has taught private lessons to both children and adults, helping students build strong technical foundations while developing a personal connection to music.
She especially enjoys working with adult learners — whether you're picking up the violin for the first time, returning after years away, or looking to deepen your skills — and she loves teaching students ages 11 and up, helping young players build a strong foundation in a warm, encouraging environment. Her teaching combines solid technique and Suzuki-based principles with a flexible, personalized approach shaped around your goals and interests.
